The only solution I see here, is the use of VPN. Talk it over with the network admin, and your ISP - not all ISP's allow/ support VPN traffic...
A far more insecure solution would be to add the route specifically to your (private) machines. This in order to ensure either side "knows" to go through the router when the other (private) ip-range is selected. Realize that all your traffic would be vulnerable. Unless using secured tns (haven't ever done that; another challenge) of course.
Again, talk to the network guru. I can't tell you how to do all that, I'm trying to cope with Oracle, not networking.
