Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> What is the best linux distribution for Oracle??
Dani,
I beleive that SUSE and RedHat advanced Server are supported, but Howard recently installed 9iR2 on Mandrake 9 and RedHat 8 - and he's always been a Windows man until then (Hi Howard).
I'm currently planning an install of 9iR2 into Mandrake 9 myself - just for fun :o)
So, if you must have support from Oracle, then check the OTN pages for the definitve list of supported versions and choose one of them.
regards,
Norman.
