I don't use consistent = Y because we have had buffer and ORA-04030 errors. This means that I am best off making sure there are no processes running. 1st shutdown immediate is to make sure that there are no processes running before the Export, startup restrict to stop users logging in. The system should only be 5 days per week 9 hours per day anyway. The startup restrict is belt and braces. Received on Thu Apr 18 2002 - 05:19:33 CDT
