Why do you:
- Shut down the database twice? Once before the export, and once for
the cold backup. There's no need to shut it down twice. Just shut it
down once for the cold backup.
- Why do you care about mounting the db in exclusive mode for your
export? Just run the export normally and then run the cold backup.
