go to qwest and download toad. sqlplus is for running scripts.
schemas vs databases is really a minor thing and more of a name difference.
Learn the transaction model differences, much different than db2.
You have much to learn about Oracle technology; seems like you are a GUI guy - judge technology by the GUI they give you. Jim
