The feature differences between EE and SE are factored into the engines themselves, and are not something you can override in the install. So it would be impossible to NOT install all EE features, or conversely install some EE only features into SE.

Note however that some of the factoring between SE and EE didn't actually get factored in Release 1 - so there is a slight chance that you could find some EE only features currently available in SE. These are documented in the release notes, and will be fully factored in Release 2. This has nothing to do with you doing a custom install.

I believe that if you do do a custom install, you will by default install the EE edition - the concept of a custom SE install doesn't really make sense. I'll check this out when I get back into the office tomorrow. Received on Wed Nov 14 2001 - 22:13:36 CST
