Anyone know workaround in Oracle9i on Windows install?

There is a big change in Oracle 9i install process. Now in order to install the desired components on a Oracle database EE install, you can NOT select 'Enterprise Edition' and hoping in the next screen you send select either 'typical', 'minimal' or 'custom' as in 8i and before. There is a 'Enterprise Edition' type to choose at the begining, but you can't select component products after that. Everything is automated. Oracle will dictate what products to install.

To perform an equivalent 'Custom' install as in 8i, user needs to choose 'Custom' at the same screen where 'Enterprise Edition', 'Standard Edition' and 'Personal Edition' is displayed. Not only is this confusing for people that expect to do a custom Enterprise Edition install, but it posts an interesting question: if I do a Custom install, how do I ensure I install all standard EE products/features because I am licensed for them? Anyone know?
