Your assumptions are correct. While the tablespace is in backup mode, the redo logs are continuing to keep track of all changes. Should you lose a tablespace while in backup mode, the redo logs and archive logs will be used to recover the database to the point of failure. Hth. Received on Tue Aug 07 2001 - 22:06:09 CDT
