Archiving Redo logs while tablespace is in backup mode.

When a tablespace is put in backup mode, the redo logs still record changes to the database, and when the backup is ended, the redo logs bring the tablespace back to date.

If there is enough database traffic to cause a redo logfile switch (with the database in archivelog mode) while the tablespace is in backup mode, the redo files are still switched and the archived logs are also used to bring the tablespace back up to date?

I am assuming that is what happens, but I am having a hard time finding this clearly in the documentaiton.
