I know, but we had to install the machine rather quickly and oas installs a lot faster then IAS. And we needed the machine badly.

We don't have troubles yet with the machine, the only thing I want to know is what will become the first bottleneck when the load on the system increases. My best guess is the processor (bandwidth is limited 66mhz to 100mhz for P2 and 133 for the newer P3's).
I know from experience that moving from 66mhz to 100mhz will increase performance for real memory intensive applications. Only I don't know what kind of applications the Database and Webserver are. Memory Intensive, IO Intensive, CPU Intensive.
This also probably depends on the application(s) being run on the database/webserver. My application is fairly straightforward. I've got only 500 users each day on the application (maximum of 2 or maybe 3 concurrent users) The application can be found at www.flitspaal.nu (its in dutch, all fixed speedradars in the netherlands). I log every position of these speedradars. The users can search this database by region/ road / direction. Plus we've got some news/fun messages about speedradars. A Discussion board, a mailinglist etc. A fairly simple dynamic website.

I know that ;], I've been monitoring the processor the last days and with every request I can see the processor shooting to 100% (normal by my best guess). And I've run the logger and this shows that average each day the processor is used about 20% .

I don't think its the problem yet ;] I want to test in the early stages what the possible next hard/software upgrade must be.
Is it possible to install IAS over OAs 4.0.8.1? Should I deinstall OAS first. What is the best installation option for IAS?
Thanx in advance
