Hi,

I believe you did the following.

  1. Open a terminal window - Su - oracle cd/cdrom ./runInstaller <--- try ./runInstaller &
  2. when you are asked to switch to 2nd CD. from the about Terminal Window Just press enter and cd / to get out off the cdrom mount point.

   this should work.
