Easier to install on NT but better performance on Linux and will be even better with the new 2.4 kernel.

The maintenance of it is the same on any platform via GUI or command line. You can use the same tools you use on the NT side.

And the 2000 side has proven to be a bit on the painful side for me atleast. I'm currently on a site doing a install of 8.1.6, Forms 6i, 8iAS and Workflow and it seems to be non cooperative. If you try 2000, good luck, it isn't the same as NT as far as Oracle goes.
