Hi Mike,

I would like to use RMAN - it works great in 8.1.6. Problem is I have to work on lots of other versions and I don't want every database to have it's own backup tool. This rules out using RMAN and EBU. I have a nice script on my site that does on and offline backups for AIX & Solaris. Using the gui with RMAN is nice but you can not recover all scenarios. Using the commandline you can.
