Re: how do we restore in this scenerio?

I think I'd just go for the export file, recreating the db. Howard may be able to point you to some fancier techniques, but it does sound to me with inconsistent files and insufficient logs that the db is probably NOT recoverable. Kind of proves the point of testing backup/restore to management though doesn't it.
