I just went thur this about a month ago. Except we were doing network
address translation (NAT) do to a duplicate addresses with our new parent
company.
1. o7client? I believe this works.
2. other ways? see your question #3, in net8 you can play with the
registry to consistantly use a single port.
3. I went with CMAN, it was up and working in about 4 hours.
4. I'll try to send you a set of config files tomorrow from work...
actually i believe you can run cman on the same machine as the database.
