Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Re: Oracle 8i on Linux - nnflboot?
I have the same problem, installing oracle 8.1.5 and the patches on Debian Linux. Is it a problem with the version of libclntsh.so.8.0?
I still don't see how to get round it. Also we are not installing Pro*C.
Graham
In the log file for the installation of the first patch (81501) we have nnosi.o(.text+0x29): undefined reference to `nmsson2_SignOnWithPathAndBool'
/home/oracle/product/8.1.5/lib//libclntsh.so: undefined reference to
`nnflboot'
/home/oracle/product/8.1.5/lib//libn8.a(nnfgt.o)(.rodata+0x24): undefined
reference to `nnflboot'
Or a problem with the LDAP Adapter, whatever that is.
I can call the routine bin/adapters and it returns: Installed Net8 Tranport Protocols are:
IPC
TCP/IP
BEQueath
SSL
RAW
Installed Net8 Naming Adapters are:
TNSnames.ora
OracleNames
Error!!! LDAP naming is not completely installed!
Adapter present in nnfgt.o, but missing from libnldap8...
Error!!! Hostname naming is not completely installed!
Installed Oracle Advanced Security option/Security products are:
Oracle Security Server Authentication Adapter
Any ideas?
