The architecture of large-scale enterprise Java applications often includes application servers, middleware, and databases. In addition, many developers find XML and Java are a powerful solution for data interchange and e-commerce. Panelists will discuss:

tradeoffs to consider when writing Java classes to install in databases
deciding whether to write classes for the database server or application server
