Oracle wont start after reboot NT server

Hi,

We've installed Oracle 8 onto a NT4.0 server (servicepack 4).

We created a database and everything worked fine.

But everytime when we shut down the server and reboot, Oracle is not there anymore.

We've started al the services, but it won't work.

When I look at my serverprocesses I see the our database service is started, so that is not the problem.

When I try to connect with SQL Plus, it says: "Oracle is not available". And thats it.

Why does it not work anymore after a normal shutdown??
