Hi all,

I found that if I dropped all the tables in a database (Oracle 7 or 8), and then do an import (with ignore=y) from a previous export dump, all views, procedures and synonyms would remain to be the new ones, not those from the export dump.

Any comments/advice on this observation?

Many many thanks.

ps. If possible, please cc: a copy of your reply to fan.ho_at_alumni.ust.hk
