Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Configuring Reports Server on UNIX(AIX)
Hi,
Can anyone help, I have configured Developer/2000 r2.1 server on UNIX ( AIX 4.2 ) using the r30cgim CGI program.
Everything works fine from Web Browser, can submit the report to a specified
queue
for destypes printer/file/cache. When using the Cache option and output to
PDF/HTMLCSS the
output DOES end up in the designated CACHE directory on the server, but does
not get returned to the web browser. A message is displayed in the browser
saying
I have set the env vars
REPORT30_WEBLOC = '/cache/ and REPORTS30_WEBLOC_TRANSLATED = '/web/home/reports/cache'
Virtual directory /cache/ is mapped as WEBLOC_TRANSLATED above.
CacheDir in the Queue config file is mapped to the same physical directory as above.
Have I missed the point on these variables - I must admit to being very
slightly confused by the
documentation.
Any help would be greatly appreciated - I tore my hair out all day.
