Insertion and Retrieval of BLOB data to OS file

Hi,



I would like to know whether there is any way to insert or retrieve
BLOB data into an OS file, especially MS Word 97.



Could I possibly use ConText but it seems that that does not
support Word 97 and most of the loading has to be done in
command line rather than through SQL call....



I am using Visual Basic and Java on Oracle 8 using RDO on NT4.0.
