Can you elaborate on this issue? My understanding is that a listener is indeed present. I can see it running from the task manager under NT. I also use a JDBC Type 4 thin driver that speaks to listeners. This driver can and does connect to Personal Oracle on a daily basis. I believe that Personal Oracle does have a listener.
