Migrating Oracle 7 data to Oracle 8

We currently are running Oracle 7.1.15 on an Alpha 8400 with OpenVMS 6.2.

We will be upgrading to UNIX and Oracle 8.0.5.

We are not using any migration software to upgrade to 8.0.5 and at the present time have no plans to use any.

We will be installing UNIX, installing the Oracle Software, and build our DB form scripts.
We need to move data (less than a GIG) out of our Oracle 7.1 DB before we upgrade to UNIX and then restore it once the 8.0.5 DB is built.

What would be the easiest way to accomplish this :
