As long as it concerns only Oracle: use Oracle Enterprise Manager (is
included with the standard product). This will allow for worldwide
administration, depending on your sqlnet configuration, and if necessary
the database can be anywhere (it is a bit exciting though to reboot from
the Netherlands a database residing in Pennsylvania, I had to do that in
the past). Sqlnet over a dialup line works fine, though you might consider
getting a fixed line. You should be able to reboot a host with OEM, so you
probably don't need pcanywhere.
