Hardware
HP NetServer LHpro

    2 P200 Processors
Disk Array controller split into 2 banks of 3 drives setup for RAID 5     10BaseT Network

OS

NT 4.0 SPK 3.0 Installed the second processor and Reinstalled NT from scratch. Configured disk arrays into 3 drives. 2GB dos partition to boot and 6GB Log file directory. The second drive is 8GB for the database. Everything works it's just extreamly SLOW. Installed the exact same software and hardware on an E45 server PII 266 and it runs rings around the LHPro. 20min query on the E45 takes over 24hrs to complete on the LHPro. Major problems.

Boost is set to NONE
Server is configured as an Application Server Performance monitor does not show any process as being very abnormal System has been rebooted
I did have some problem stopping the database prior to the reboot. Received on Wed Sep 23 1998 - 12:17:31 CDT
