Oracle,Informix & PeopleSpft

We are running PeopleSoft Financials 6.x on an Informix v7.x engine. We are contemplating a migration away from Informix to Oracle8.

Have any of you participated in such a conversion? I'd really appreciate any feedback, pointers, warnings, etc.
