The Image Cartridge is only available in Oracle8 because it is using the
trusted cartridge interface. To manipulate images in Oracle7 you will have
to use LONG datatypes and OCI/Proc*C programs. Note to perform image
searches in Oracle8 you need the Virage Cartridge, Image does not provide
the necessary signatures to perform searches.
