Configure Shared Memory

 Hi There,

I'm trying to install Oracle 7.3.3 on Solaris 2.5.1 , after running the server manager I receive the following message :

SVRMGR> startup
ORA-07331: smsnsg: unable to allocate the variable portion of the SGA.

I think that I've omitted to modify kernel parameters about shared memory or semaphores , but what are the syntax and values I have to add in the /etc/system file .

Any help is welcomed ,
Olivier. Received on Tue Jan 06 1998 - 00:00:00 CST
