If I'm understanding your question correctly, it sounds like a tool question, which would go for comp.databases.oracle.tools. But many people follow all the cdo* groups, so avoid crossposting, but the only thing most people care about as far as which group to post in is commercial posts (job or product ads, which go in cdo.marketplace).

Some people (like Chris Warticki) seem to think usenet is dead, but around here it just takes a question people are interested in. (Yeah, I'm mildly miffed he didn't put cdos in
http://blogs.oracle.com/Support/2010/02/if_mos_is_down_then_what.html or my comment about it, but then again, lol that the Oracle Communitywide  Resources link is 404.)

Here's some more info about cdos (which mostly applies across all cdo* groups): http://dbaoracle.net/readme-cdos.htm I admit I've fallen a bit behind in maintaining it, I do have a to-do list. There's a more out-of-date degenerate version on orafaq (scraped from me with permission), but I'm too lazy to fix it.
