Oracle changed the networking stack between 8i and 10g. So 8i clients have a tough time connecting to 10g instances. This may mean that DBA Studio no longer works for you for your 10g databases.

For 10g, you'll be looking towards OEM. Which means you'll either have to set up Grid Control (single or multiple databases) or Database Control (single database).
