Under the user profile, there are selections for putting certify&availability on your Headlines, and an option for emailing you the headlines, but the c&a has always been blank for me. Maybe you should give it a try and open an SR if it doesn't work for you. It's possible I've misinterpreted the purpose of c&a all these years.

Sometimes the knowledgebase section has patch notes, but so far as I can tell, if you want to know when the new patch set is out, you have to pay attention. They add the link to the patch area sometimes before they actually publish the patch, too, so you can't tell that way either. I almost think they do it mysteriously on purpose so as not to get slashdotted (overwhelmed by download requests, which happens anyways).

I have an open SR about bad links in the news&notes section of the emails, but the analyst seems to have gotten stuck on the fact that the links work in the news&notes section of the online headlines. <sigh> They want to do a conference call to walk me through it, I thought I was being nice by pointing out whoever is generating those links for the email is not doing it right from the point of view of someone outside looking in, ever since they changed their SSO.
