Thanks for the informaton. Sorry if tis seems like basic mistakes;
although I am very familiar with Oracle, I am a newbie to Linux. The
site you provided was very helpful. I tried going to the links provided
for "missiing packages" but I can't seem to find where to download teh
gcc pakcage. Would you be able to point me to the location? Thanks a
