I'm just wondering if I'm mixing an Oracle forms-specific syntax with
regular PL/SQL.  Looking at my forms help it has functions like
"Insert_Record", "Next_Record", etc. and I know you could create a
multi-field record that you could insert into a table in memory.



I'm just not sure if that capability exists in non-forms PL/SQL.
