Ideally I would like to create a rotation of partitions, and keep them in there
own tablespaces. We are talking about 100+ tables which are all partitioned the same way as I described.

I think merging isn't the best solutions dropping and recreating is possible but
you have to determine in what tablespace the partition is before dropping it.

Any other suggestions would be great
