Additionally, new readers should READ a group for a period of time BEFORE posting. Even extensive charters cannot provide a complete description of the culture of a group. Some groups rigidly enforce certain rules while others are very lax. (e.g., ask something about body building in rec.running sometime).

Nice at least that the OP tried a little research. Sounds like she is willing to learn.
Obviously these posts are for her and for all other new posters and potential posters to this group.
