But what you are not acknowleding is that even small customers have databases containing valuable corporate assets.

If the data wasn't valuable they could use 3x5 cards or MS Access.

If it is in Oracle ... if they stepped up to the plate and bought the best ... they did it for a reason. You don't take a diamond ring from Tiffany to your local blacksmith for resizing.
