I object. :-)

The term "hacker" has been sadly abused. Especially by Hollywood, the media and snotty nose pimple face computer abusers. Rather call them hackerz, script kiddies or luzers (terminology that they will understand clearly).

A hacker in the proper context means someone that has the technical savvy to work through, identify and solve complex technical problems. And have often technical gems to share. Which means that some people around here are indeed hackers.

But I agree, solving the problem of getting Oracle 9i to run on WinXP Home is a pointless and useless exercise.
