Yes, that was what i missed. Still, when executing the same set of
SQL-commands using a Java-program i don't really recall commiting
any changes. I assumed that the autocommit was on. Apparently it was not.

I have checked that page. It seems like Java is not a MS product afterall.
And i have allways believed that the Swing Duke was Gates in disguise...
Obviously i need to be more explicit about when i'm sarcastic. My misstake.
