Konrad,

SQL plus is quite an old application (more than 20 years ?). I guess that when it was first developed, remembering recently executed SQL wasn't that important for users. A lot of people still use SQL plus and are very happy with what it does for them.

For people who want a bit more functionality, Oracle developed SQL plus worksheet, which remembers recent SQL and allows cut and paste editing etc.

IMO an evil company would have dropped SQL plus completely and forced all users to purchase a new application with functionality they don't need or want !
