Always a fan of getting something for nothing (or nearly nothing), my
advice would be to go after the 8i certification and then study for
and take the 1Z0-030 exam (Oracle 9i - New Features for
Administrators) to get the 9i certification. Practically 2
certifications for the price of 1.
