Oracle 8i installation problem with Windows XP

Hi!

I have Windows XP (Home Edition) as my OS and I am trying to install Oracle 8i (ver 8.1.7), the Oracle Universal installer screen does come, after I specify the source path for products.jar file in the STAGE dir, and also specify the destination directory and click on Next, the Loading Product Information window comes up, while trying to load the Product List I get the following error "Invalid Staging Area. There are no top level components for Windows NT available for install from this staging area."

Coula anyone suggest what might be wrong?
