Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.misc -> how to configure Oracle HTTP server
Hi folks,
We installed an Oracle 8.1.7 on linux.
When we use "apachectl start" to start the HTTP server, it always gave us
the following error message:
Syntax error on line 13 of
/oracle/mntpt01/Apache/Apache/conf/mod__ose.conf:
AuroraService - directive already in effect for this Server
/oracle/mntpt01/Apache/Apache/bin/apachectl startssl: httpd could not be
started
The 13 line is AuroraService inst1_http (the default one)
I tried to delete the Apache on redhat 7.1 and only use Oracle's apache and it still doesn't work.
