modify sqlnet.ora on any client
add/change
trace_level_client = 16 trace_directory_client = <any directory> trace_unique_client = true
I dont have any of these entries in my sqlnet.ora file on the client what do I have to do to get these entries
BTW
I dont have 200 clients connecting to the database all the time just a few
at a time and I have the OAS with a few users who use it for very basic
purposes
This will generate a sqlnet<xx>.trc or cli<xx>.trc which will show you exactly which tnsnames.ora it is using. My recent experience tells me syntax errors in tnsnames.ora also result in 12154.
