newbie

I am grad student at Virginia Tech and am trying to go throught this Book by Morrison and Mprrison. In one of the chapters I made a data block in Forms builder using Data Block Wizard. Everything works fine till here, but when I try to run the form something goes wrong and I can see only one screen flashing and then vanishing. When I look into the directory I could find the .fmx file but no .err file is made. It doesn't give me any error just flashes the screen and vanishes. I am confused.

any help would be appreciated
