Hi,

can someone tell me the right newsgroup to post for problems with Oracle IAS EE and or WebDB (O-Portal) on NT ?

We have been trying for days to succesfully install IAS. Problem : after startup it uses up 250M main memory and just hangs. Killing the HTTP server and the cache-manager releases some of the memory, but now you can't continue the installation. The jrew process uses 25MB memory, shown by NT task manager.

The installation on a 800MHz machine with 256MB and 2 SCSI Drives takes about 4 hours and leaves the machine in a mess. You have to clean the registry by hand, deleting all the references to oracle and iguides before you can attemp a reinstall.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Ted
