I've been working on the UDB\DB2 since ver 5, almost 2 years now. Prior to that working on DB2\OS390. Then I started working on Oracle. No offence to your accolades on DB2, but from one who has worked on both sides of the fence.... DB2 is still a ways away from Oracle.
