Hi,
Of course it is possible to re-invent the wheel and make some vba code yourself. However, you may find yourself fixing all the problems I have encoutered while coding Oraxcel.
There are some formatting issues with Excel that are rather difficult to fix.
Oraxcel is not very expensive but the choice is yours...
