problem installing 8.1.6 on AIX

Hi All!

After installing Oracle 8.1.6 EE on AIX I"m getting the following error messages when trying to run SVRMGRL and SQLPLUS:

XX /cdrom > svrmgrl
exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program svrmgrl because of the following errors:

        0509-130 Symbol resolution failed for svrmgrl because:
        0509-136   Symbol aix_ora_pw_version3_required (number 261) is
not exported from
                   dependent module /unix.
        0509-192 Examine .loader section symbols with the


                 'dump -Tv' command.

XX /cdrom > sqlplus
exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program sqlplus because of the following errors:

        0509-130 Symbol resolution failed for sqlplus because:
        0509-136   Symbol aix_ora_pw_version3_required (number 270) is
not exported from
                   dependent module /unix.
        0509-192 Examine .loader section symbols with the


                 'dump -Tv' command.

I"ll be happy to get a clue.
