Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.misc -> Newbie-Question: Loader generates NULLs
Hi,
I've tried out a lot of possible solutions - without success: I want to load Data of a sequential File by SQLLDR into a ORacle 8.0.5-table.
When a Field in the loaded File is blank/Space and the target-Column in
the
table is i.e. a VARCHAR2-Field, it results in a NULL-Value.
I want to get the original content of the loaded File: Spaces, not NULL!
Can anyone give me a hint, how to do that??
By the way:
The HTML-Help-Pages of ORA 8.0.5 contents Synthax-Diagramms in such a
small
size, that - in my opinion - no human programmer can read those small
GIF's.
Or should I need a special glass???
Thanks in advance
Dieter
