No, I have not. Although I will probably buy the one for my upcoming test, DB administration and give it a shot. I was lucky enough that my employer paid for all the necessary Oracle education classes. So I have those books.

 I also find they are not very good explaining concepts, as the Oracle press exam guide for oracle 8. So I am using both and I find I am really understanding what is going on, rather than memorizing facts. I am answering all the questions on th guide and writing them down for reference... a lot of work but I feel I get the point a lot better.

 If you want to get the Oracle press books rather inexpensively, check out www.booksonline.com. It is a book club. You get the Exam guide (valued at about $100) plus two other books (Oracle 8i and the oracle8 troubleshooting) all for about $20.00. You only need to buy one more book from them and you are done..
